Automate document input from email attachments
COLLECTOR is an add-on to ReadSoft's data capture software. It automatically imports invoices attached to email straight into the capture software where information is extracted and interpreted.
Working in the background, COLLECTOR detects any image file attachment (PDF, TIF, PNG, etc.) and immediately transfers it to either DOCUMENTS or INVOICES. The destination is determined by the email address.
The main benefit is that emailed data is automatically processed, just like paper documents. Identical business rules are applied and the data is transferred to your host system in the same way.
Depending on your settings, your incoming attachment may be ready for downstream processing in a matter of seconds.
