Imaging Software

Imaging Software for document scanning creates images of paper documents. Imaging Software is a part of ReadSoft's solution for document automation.

Our Imaging Software creates images out of documents coming in from email, fax, paper or web. It is from these images that our Imaging Software can extract information, interpret it and then pass it on to any computer system. This automatic data capture using imaging technology is conducted in two ways. OCR (Optical Character Recognition) deals with machine print while ICR (Intelligent Character Recognition) allows ReadSoft's software to recognize handwritten characters. When entering forms and invoices into a computer system with ReadSoft's imaging software you will be able to save enormous time and money. Imaging Software also reduces human errors to a minimum and thus increases the data quality.
