ReadSoft delivers concrete business benefits to Ciments Calcia,
leading cement provider

ReadSoft has closed a deal with one
of Europe’s largest cement producers, Ciments Calcia in France. Calcia
has chosen ReadSoft to facilitate electronic processing of supplier
invoices, closely integrated with Calcia’s SAP R/3® Business System.
ReadSoft’s INVOICES technology will be installed at the customer’s
financial department to cut costs in the processing of 200,000
invoices annually. |
With 10 plants, 11 distribution centers, eight sales agencies, 1500
employees and an annual production of one third of the volumes
produced on the French market, Ciments Calcia leads the French cement
industry.
Seeking new ways to maximize profit, Calcia decided to begin
electronic processing of supplier invoices. After comparative tests
and careful selection, Ciments Calcia chose ReadSoft’s INVOICES
software and its certified integration module for the SAP R/3®
Business System. ReadSoft’s patented INVOICES technology will process
200,000 invoices received from 30,000 suppliers annually. The solution
ensures the digitalization of the whole life cycle of invoices’
processing, including approval and archiving. Closely integrated with
Calcia’s SAP business system, the software will reduce manual handling
of invoices to a minimum, thus offering substantial savings in time
and money. In collaboration with ReadSoft’s partner, Plaut Consulting,
expert developer in SAP environments, ReadSoft presents a complete
solution with workflow and archive applications.

What is INVOICES?
INVOICES software is designed to recognize unstructured invoice
documents and capture data such as sender, invoice number and invoice
amount from anywhere on the invoice. At the same time, the software
checks the data against information in the customer’s business system.
