Endorser

Supported. You control the position of an endorser string in the Scan job options dialog.

With most scanners, you specify in millimeters or in inches (depending on the settings in your E*global.ini file) where you want the string to be printed, relative to the upper left-hand corner of the page. However, with the Panasonic 905C, you specify the vertical position using a value (n) from 1 to 99. The value becomes part of one of two formulas, depending on whether you are scanning with landscape or portrait orientation.

For landscape scanning

Formula: 10 mm + (2.40 mm * n)

Examples:

n = 1: 10 mm + (2.40 mm * 1) = 12.40 mm ð endorser string is printed 12.40 mm from the top

n = 5: 10 mm + (2.40 mm * 5) = 22 mm ð endorser string is printed 22 mm from the top

For portrait scanning

Formula: 10 mm + (3.46 mm * n)

Examples:

n = 1: 10 mm + (3.46 mm * 1) = 13.46 mm ð endorser string is printed 13.46 mm from the top

n = 5: 10 mm + (3.46 mm * 5) = 27.30 mm ð endorser string is printed 27.30 mm from the top

You cannot specify the horizontal position of the endorser string printed by this scanner.
