For PerfectPage scanning up to version 5-1, set Deskew=1 and UseMiniDriver=1 in Ehlocal.ini (FORMS) or Eilocal.ini (INVOICES). (Starting with version 5-2, set deskewing in the Advanced scanner settings dialog.) To run Kodak 3520 scanner on Windows 2000 with 5-1 or earlier, some drivers and DLL files must be replaced. (also needed for 5-2 SP6 and SP7). Kodak 3520 fix To enable iThresholding, set Light to 1 in the Scanner settings dialog. |

Endorser |
Supported (3520DP) This information is of interest if you enable your scanner’s endorser and then select Auto endorse in the Scan job options dialog. It concerns what you must type in the Prefix string box in the Scan job options dialog. The prefix is the first part of the string to be printed by the endorser—usually the part before the counter. The prefix is optional for most scanners. However, this model requires that a counter be represented in the prefix string by one or more placeholder characters. No counter number is printed if placeholder characters are missing. In the Prefix string box, type a hash mark (#) as a placeholder for a counter. Use one hash mark for each digit of the counter. For more information, refer to FORMS Help and the documentation that came with the scanner. |

Useful INI flags |
To use automatic cropping, include UseMiniDriver=1 in the [SCSIOptions] section of Eilocal.ini (FORMS) or Eilocal.ini (INVOICES). This setting enables the Auto crop option in the SCSI scanner settings dialog in FORMS/INVOICES. Important: Auto deskew must also be selected in order for auto cropping to work. Even if auto cropping is not used, we recommend selecting Auto deskew in the SCSI scanner settings dialog whenever it is available. |
